At Ysgol Friars we aspire for all our pupils to foster enjoyment of learning to the highest standards through the creation of a bilingual, civilized community where pupils share a common set of values applicable to their local, national and global identity.<\/p>\n

Teaching and learning is at the heart of our school. Our teachers challenge pupils and have high expectations of them. We recognise the integral role of the learning environment in supporting effective learning. Our teachers consider the pedagogical approaches they will need to develop to support pupils to make progress and to achieve their potential.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Teachers are encouraged to reflect on their practice, collaborate with colleagues within the school and in other schools. All of our teachers receive any appropriate training required to improve their practice.
