It is important that Years 7-11 form a basis not only for “AS/A2” level courses but also for specific vocational courses such as Level 3 Certificate and Diploma and Welsh | Baccalaureate courses.

Once more, in Years 12 and 13, the personal core is important and shows the progression from Years 7-11, giving opportunities to develop essential skills and for counselling. It also provides an opportunity to link more academic courses with courses containing a vocational or cross-curricular element.
During Year 11, students are informed of the advanced-level courses which will be available in Year 12. The provision in September 2023 is as follows:
